This is our current dance, and I really like it! Justina is making an effort to teach us slower than usual so this has taken two hours of dance class to learn. The song is SO catchy!

I messed up one of the moves. I actually know the move but forget when it comes up in the song lol. Oh well, I have four weeks to get it right!

Today I set Claire up with a big pile of arts and crafts but when she came in and found me cleaning she decided she'd much rather clean too. I was working on wiping out the in-law's old bedroom wardrobes. Claire is a remarkably thorough cleaner! She cleaned for a whole hour before she asked if we could go to the zoo or the park. Girl you can go anywhere you like after that effort!

An afternoon of singing

I desperately wanted a record of Claire's attempt at singing. She doesnt do too badly for a 2 year old lol.

another one!

This is the dance Weds class will perform in October. Technically it is meant to be harder than Thursday's but it SO isnt lol. This style is fun and bouncy, Thursday is a bit more traditional/difficult. I love this class though! We've just hit the half way mark of the dance. I'm dressed in black and you can see bits of me here and there to the far right of the camera.

Here is this term's dance class. We only did five weeks of this routine rather than the usual six so it is shorter than some. It's a nice slow routine because Nat decided we should rest after the soiree. I really enjoyed this dance and quite like the song's quirks. I am enjoying it a lot, but am concentrating (especially towards the end when I am trying to remember moves we've just learned tonight).

October 2009. Roh is FINALLY getting big enough to start wrestling with Flynn. Though Flynn often grabs a limb, he never bites down, he is very careful with the children.

Hi!

Here is a video from dance practice last night. I made two mistakes I can clearly see, but I knew they were mistakes the moment I made them so that's ok coz I can correct them. I run into frame after the song has started because I was still giving the camera to Bianca to hold.

Last night we wore scarves but next week it is full costume (but no makeup). I'm wearing black and have a pink scarf in my hair (and btw, my entire outfit is that colour so you wont miss me on stage lol). I'm glad we have a few more weeks of practice to perfect it!

Balloons dont last long with him around lol. It's actually better to blow them up and hide them until they start to go wrinkly then give them to him!

Claire and Flynn last Friday

On Friday afternoon, Flynn was trying to catch up on his afternoon sleep while Claire played with the clothes horse.

And then Claire noticed where he was. I just looove the way her hand pat's him, it's just too cute lol. Maybe I'm biased? It's a tiny video but so cute! If you are wondering what she is saying, it's "Puppy sleep". Love her plumbers crack lol.
